Abstract

Tema rada je istraživati utjecaj hippie generacije i američkih trendova na modu šezdesetih i sedamdesetih godina, pažnja će se usmjeriti na utjecaje američkih trendova na hrvatsku modu u cilju ukazivanja na izvor modnih utjecaja na našemu prostoru. Njihova povijest je iznimno povezana s današnjom modom i k tome istražujemo početke Hippie kontrakulture koje je uvela i popularne pojmove, stila i dizajna, čak su bili među prvim kulturama koja je uvela uporabu rabljene odjeće (second hand) na suvremeni način, pa je odjeća također bila dio recikliranja i održivosti mode. Cilj ovog rada je istražiti utjecaj suvremenih modnih trendova koji su inspirirani hippie kulturom iz 1960-ih i kako se u početku proširila do naših prostora pomoću raznih medija, časopisa. U posljednjih godina, mnogi svjetski poznati modni dizajneri kao što su Dior, Pierre Balmain, Emilio Pucci i Nina Ricci, te domaći dizajneri Žuži Jelinek, Tilda Stepinski i dr. nadahnuće su pronašli u hippie mode iz 1960-ih.

Abstract (english)

The main subject of this dissertation is to investigate the influence of the hippie generation and the American trends on fashion in the sixties and seventies, and will focus on the influence of American trends on Croatian fashion in order to point out the source of fashion influences in our area. Their history is extremely connected to today's fashion and we are exploring the beginnings of the Hippie countercultures, which introduced popular notions, style and design, they were even among the first cultures to introduce second-hand clothing in a contemporary way, so clothing was also part of the recycling and sustainability of fashion. The aim of this theses is to investigate the influence of contemporary fashion trends inspired by the hippie culture of the 1960s and how it initially spread to our spaces through various media and magazines. In recent years, many world-famous fashion designers such as Dior, Pierre Balmain, Emilio Pucci and Nina Ricci and the domestic Croatian designers like Žuži Jelinek, Tilda Stepinski have found inspiration in 1960s hippie fashion.
