Abstract

Suvremeni svjetski trend u razvoju tekstilnih vlakana ukazuje na njihovu sve veću primjenu u različitim granama industrije i tehnike. Zahtjevi na vlakna i materijale za pojedina alternativna područja primjene izuzetno su visoki i specifični, a postižu se razvojem novih generičkih tipova vlakana ili modifikacijama postojećih konvencionalnih vlakana odnosno vlaknima visokih svojstava. Njihova mehanička svojstva su poboljšana, kako bi se mogla koristiti na području tehničkog tekstila, gdje je potrebna velika čvrstoća, a ovisno o namjeni i visoka termička i kemijska otpornost.
U ovom završnom radu, dat će se pregled razvoja vlakana visokih svojstava te njihov put razvoja u 21 stoljeću.

Abstract (english)

The modern world trend in the development of textile fibres indicates their increasing application in various branches of industry and technology. The requirements for fibres and materials for certain alternative areas of application are extremely high and specific, and are achieved by the development of new generic types of fibres or modifications of existing conventional fibres or fibres with high properties. Their mechanical properties have been improved, so that it can be used in the field of technical textiles, where high strength is required, and depending on the purpose, high thermal and chemical resistance. In this final paper, an overview of the development of high-quality fibers and their path of development in the 21st century will be given.
