Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad sastoji se od dva dijela. Prvi dio je teorijski i u njemu se obrađuje
opus scenarista i dramaturga Michaela Wynnea i redateljice Aide Bukvić koja je isti komad
adaptirala na Akademiji dramskih umjetnosti, a kasnije i u Gradskom kazalištu Komedija u
Zagrebu. Prvi dio obuhvaća analizu djela, kostimografsku razradu te dramaturgiju samih likova.
Drugi dio obuhvaća praktičan rad koji analizira i prikazuje podatke vezane uz samu
izvedbu djela, podjelu glumaca u obje produkcije, prijedlog materijala za kostime i samu izradu
kostima te fotografije izvedbi. Prikazan je i detaljni troškovnik za svaki pojedinačni kostim,
odnosno lik. U praktičnom dijelu se nalazi i treća verzija prijedloga kostima.
U zaključku rada usporedno se analiziraju dvije produkcije istog djela, prva, postavljena
na Akademiji dramske umjetnosti, koja je realizirana bez budžeta s glumcima studentima i
druga, postavljena u Gradskom kazalištu Komedija s profesionalnim budžetom i glumcima.

Abstract (english)

This master thesis contains two parts. First part of the thesis is theoretical and it talks
about writer and playwright Michael Wynne's opus and his play The Priory. Director Aida
Bukvić adapted his scenario in two productions – in Academy of dramatic arts Zagreb and in
Theatre Komedija Zagreb. First part includes analysis of the play, costume elaboration and
dramaturgy of characters.
The second part of the thesis is practical and there are informations such as when and
where were the two productions perfomed, actors division in both productions, material
suggestion, making of costumes and photos of final costumes. In practical part there is a third
costume suggestion. In this part there is also an example of the bill for the play.
In conclusion of this thesis, you will see the comparison of the play The Priory made in
two productions. First production was made by Academy of dramatic arts in Zagreb with no
budget and amateur actors, and the second time by Theatre Komedija Zagreb with professional
actors and suggested budget.
