Abstract

Tema ovog završnog rada proizašla je iz osobne afekcije prema 20-im godinama 20. stoljeća. Nadahnut pompoznošću ovoga pravca koji je nastao kao suprotnost dotadašnjoj vladavini secesije, prvenstveno ću istražiti korijene i početak samog pravca.
Zatim ću se osvrnuti na prodor Art Decoa u posebno značajnu sferu arhitekture te ću na posljetku prebaciti fokus s posebnom pozornošću na sintezu Art Decoa i mode. Arhitektura Art Decoa posebno je značajna komponenta ovoga završnog rada, upravo iz razloga što je glavna inspiracija za vlastiti dizajn haljine; realiziran ovim završnim radom, deriviran iz arhitekture; Chrysler zgrade, točnije monumentalnog krovišnog dijela – savršeni geometrijski ornament.
Osim istraživačkog dijela rada primjenu umjetnosti na modu prezentirati ću ručno izrađenim i osobno dizajniranim odjevnim komadom potonje spomenutim.

Abstract (english)

The theme of this final work derives from personal affections towards the era of 1920. Inspired by the pompousness of this era that has emerged as a contrast to the prevailing reign of Art Nouveau, I will first explore the roots and the beginning of the art course. Then I will look at the Art Deco breach of a particularly significant sphere of architecture and I will eventually shift the focus with a special emphasis on Art Deco and Fashion synthesis. Art Deco architecture is a particularly important part of this final work, precisely because it is the main initiation for my own design of dress; realized with this final work and derived from architecture; Chrysler building, more precisely the monumental top roof piece - a perfect geometric ornament. In addition to the research part, manifestation of art in fashion I will present with a hand-made and personally designed dress piece of the aforementioned.
