Abstract

U svijetu ne prođe ni jedan dan bez najave "krize" tijela. Nove, prekrasne, uznemirujuće i zastrašujuće mogućnosti neprestano nas bombardiraju. Uz lagani i brzi pristup svim podacima, promjenama i mišljenjima dijeljenim na društvenim mrežama, pogled na golo tijelo u modnoj ilustraciji svakim se danom mijenja. Moj završni rad bavi se proučavanjem i promatranjem promjene u prikazu golog tijela u umjetnosti. Cilj je pokazati kako se tijelo mijenjalo kroz vrijeme, samim time kako se mijenjao pogled na njega, njegova estetika i problematika te kako je vrijeme utjecalo na suvremeni pogled na tijelo. Početak pojma savršenstva nalazimo u antici, gdje je u središtu umjetnosti bilo golo tijelo, izraženo prikazima idealnog muškog tijela. Tijekom srednjeg vijeka koji je otpustio ljudsko tijelo, pažnja je na vjeri. Savršenstvo nagog tijela ponovno se pojavilo u renesansi gdje se sve više otkriva unutarnji svijet i žudi za ravnotežom i simetričnosti tijela. Ljepota antike dolazi u središte u baroku gdje idealno tijelo dolazi u centar umjetnosti. U modernom dobu, osvrt se stavlja na svakodnevni život, svakodnevna tijela koja su bila oblija, kao što su i danas. Suvremena umjetnost međutim krši pravila i stilove svih spomenutih razdoblja i bazira se na suvremene estetike i problematike u svijetu. Ne ograničava se jednim stilom, jednim oblikom ni jednim problemom jer "anything goes".

Abstract (english)

In the western world, hardly a day goes by without the announcement of a “crisis” of the body. New, wonderful, disconcerting, horrifying possibilities continuallybombard us. With an easy and quick access to all data, changes and sharing of opinions on social media, the view on the naked body in fashion illustrations changes every day. My final paper deals with studying and observing the changes in the representation of the naked body in art. The goal is to show how the body shifted through time, changes in the view on it, its aesthetics and problems and the influence of time on the contemporary view of the body. The beginning of the concept of perfection developed in the Classical Antiquity, where the naked body was in the center of the art, displaying an ideal male body. During the Middle Ages that abandoned the human body, the attention was on faith. Perfection of a nude body reappeared in the Renaissance where the inner world is increasingly exposed and the desire for balance and symmetry started. The beauty of the Classical age is the main theme in Baroque where the ideal body becomes the center of attention. In the Modern age, the focus is on everyday life, everyday body types that have been chubby at the time, as they are still today. The contemporary art, however, violates the rules and styles of all the previously mentioned periods, and it's based on the contemporary aesthetics and issues in the world. It is not limited to one style, one form or one problem, because "anything goes".
