Abstract

Inspiracija za diplomski rad dolazi iz knjige “Kuća lutaka”, drame od tri ĉina norveškog pisca Henrika Ibsena. 'Kuća lutaka' prati priĉu o Nori Helmer, ţeni koja se suoĉava sa ograniĉenjima svog braka i društvene sredine. Premijerno je izvedena 1879. godine. Diplomski rad se bavi razumjevanjem kostimografije zadane drame i vremena u kojem je izdana. Uz istraţivanje siluete i kostimografije povijesnog perioda drame, zadatak je ujedno i rekonstruirati haljinu koja odgovara svim spomenutim ĉinjenicama. Taj segment bit će potkrijepljen skicama, krojem haljine, procesom izrade, detaljima poput ruĉnog veza bisera i kristala. Glavni zadatak rada je idejno rješenje haljine glavnog lika Nore Ibsenove “Kuće lutaka”. U konaĉnici diplomskog rada vidjet ćemo vizualnu retrospektivu kroz povijest, vizualni identitet vremena i sam utjecaj drame na osmišljavanje i izradu izabrane haljine.

Abstract (english)

The inspiration for this thesis comes from the book "A Doll's House," a three-act play by Norwegian writer Henrik Ibsen. "A Doll's House" follows the story of Nora Helmer, a woman confronting the constraints of her marriage and social environment. It premiered in 1879. The thesis focuses on understanding the costume design of the specified play and the era in which it was released. In addition to researching the silhouette and costume design of the historical period of the play, the task also involves reconstructing a dress that aligns with all the aforementioned facts. This segment will be supported by sketches, the dress pattern, the production process, and details such as hand embroidery with pearls and crystals. The ultimate goal is to create a conceptual design for the dress of the main character, Nora, from Ibsen's "A Doll's House." The final part of the thesis will present a visual retrospective through history, the visual identity of the era, and the impact of the play on the creation of the chosen dress.
