Abstract

U završnom radu istražit će se bajke braće Grimm, što će biti temelj za inspiraciju ženske kolekcije s naglaskom na ranija izdanja bajki braće Grimm, u kojima priče imaju mračniji i nasilniji ton. Bajka je posebna književna vrsta kod koje se čudesno i nadnaravno isprepliće sa zbiljskim na takav način da se granice između stvarnoga i izmišljenoga brišu. Bajke su najčešće proizvod narodnih pjesama i narodnih kazivanja, te uglavnom služe kao pouka djeci. Braća Grimm, Jacob i Wilhelm, su početkom 19. stoljeća počeli sakupljati narodne priče i pjesme, te su ih koncentrirali u zbirke kako bi sačuvali te dijelove njemačke tradicije i kulture. Vjerovali su kako priče povezuju ljude po iskustvima koja dijele, te da se kroz njih održava kulturna tradicija. Karakteristike prvih izdanja, u kojima se susreće magično i brutalno, će biti inspiracija za izradu ove kolekcije. Rezultat završnog rada biti će izrada konstrukcije te modeliranje odabranog odjevnog predmeta.

Abstract (english)

In the final paper, the fairytales of the Brothers Grimm will be explored, which will be a foundation for the women's clothing collection that is inspired by the more dark and brutal early editions of the stories. A fairytale is a special literary genre where the extraordinary is intertwined with the ordinary in a way that the lines between things that real and things that are unreal are erased. Fairytales are usually the product of folk tales and songs, and they are mainly used as a lesson to children. The Brothers Grimm, Jacob and Wilhelm, have begun to collect folk stories and songs in the beggining of the 19th century, and they have concentrated them in collections in order to preserve those parts of german tradition and culture. They believed that stories connect people with the experiences that they share and that the cultural tradition is conserved through them. The characteristics of the early editions, where the magical meets the brutal, will be the inspiration for this collection. The results of the final paper will be the construction and modeling of the selected garment.
