Abstract

Tema ovog diplomskog rada jest Suvremeni plesni kostim inspiriran opusom Isadore Duncan, a obuhvaća područje kazališne i plesne umjetnosti te umjetnički opus američke plesačice Isadore Du n can. Istražuje se njezin utjecaj na reformu plesnoga smjera 20. stoljeća. Također, opisuje se funkc ija i specifičnost plesnog kostima unutar područja kostimografije i promjene koje svako stoljeće zasebno donosi. K ao rezultat ovoga istraživanja nastaje kostimografska mapa radova te izrađen kostim inspiriran navedenim temama.

Abstract (english)

The subject of this paper is contemporary dance costume, inspired by the work of Isadora Duncan. It covers the field of performing arts and the work of the dancer Isadora Duncan. It examines the influence of Duncan on the reform of dance in the 20th century. It also describes the function and characteristics of dance costume from the perspective of costume design and the changes it has undergone over the centuries. The result of this research is a costume design map as well as a costume inspired by the themes discussed in the thesis.
