Abstract

Diplomski rad sastoji se od dva dijela, teorijskog i praktičnog. U teorijskom dijelu istražuje se forma mjuzikla općenito, njegova povijest i razvitak kroz desetljeća te se analiziraju različita uprizorenja mjuzikla kroz medij filma. Glavna tematika rada je mjuzikl Andrewa Lloyda Webbera ''Fantom opere''. Analizira se djelo i likovi te daje kratka usporedba između originalnog djela francuskog novinara i spisatelja Gastona Lerouxa, mjuzikla A.L. Webbera i filma iz 2004.godine. U praktičnom dijelu rada radi se prijedlog crteža kostima za likove inspiriranih formom mjuzikla. Radi se karakterizacija likova i opis svakog kostima, izabire kostim za realizaciju, te se sve faze izrade kostima zabilježava fotografijom.

Abstract (english)

This graduate paper consists of two pieces, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part analyzes the form of the musical in general, whilst exploring it's history and development through the decades and different staging of the musical through the medium of film. The main theme is Andrew Llyod Webber's musical ''Phantom of the Opera''. The piece and characters are analyzed and a brief comparison is given between the original novel of the french journalist and writer Gaston Leroux, the A.L.Webber's musical and a movie from the 2004. In the practical piece of the paper, costume drawing suggestions for characters inspired by the form of the musical are included, as well as the character's analysis and costume description, one costume is made, and all stagess of costume making and sewing are photographed.
