Abstract

Tema diplomskog rada je analiza kostima televizijske serije „Miss Fisher's Murder Mystery” (2012). Radnja serije u kriminalističkom žanru je smještena u 1920-te godine dvadesetog stoljeća. Diplomski rad se bavi analizom kostimografskih rješenja kojima se grade i podcrtavaju karakteri glavnih likova. Istraživanje stavlja kostimografiju serije u širi kontekst društvenih prilika, mode i stila s posebnim osvrtom na ulogu i položaj žene u društvu između dva svjetska rata.
Praktični dio rada je rekonstrukcija i izrada kostima inspirirana glavnim likom serije.

Abstract (english)

The topic of the thesis is the costume analysis of the television series "Miss Fisher's Murder Mystery" (2012). The plot of the series in the crime genre is set in the 1920s. The thesis deals with the analysis of costume design solutions that build and underline the characters of the main characters. The research places the costume design of the series in the broader context of social circumstances, fashion and style with special reference to the role and position of women in society between the Two World Wars.
The practical part of the paper is the reconstruction and production of costumes inspired by the main character of the series.
