Abstract

Tema koja je obraĊena u ovom radu istraţuje ideale ţenske ljepote i njezinog utjecaja na modu kroz povijest. Naglasiti će se i uloga suvremenih diktata u oblikovanju modnih trendova i ukazati na moguće prepreke na tom putu. Pokušati će se dokazati da ţivimo i pripadamo kulturi tijela. Istraţivanjem i pronalaţenjem dostupnih podataka, nastojati će se objasniti nastanak razliĉitih modnih izriĉaja, vodeći raĉuna o potrebama i tendencijama ljudi tokom pojedinih povijesnih razdoblja.

Abstract (english)

This work explores the ideal of female beauty and its influence on fashion through history. It will accentuate the role of contemporary dictates in shaping trends in fashion, while also showing obstacles in this line of thought.
One of the main points will be to show that we live in and belong to a culture of body. By finding and researching available data, the goal will be to explain the genesis of diverse stylistic expressions, while also taking into acount peoples' needs and other tendencies during specific historical periods.
