Abstract

Naziv ovog rada glasi 'Modna ilustracija u tehnici sitotisak' , on objedinjuje tehnološke i umjetničke
aspekte mode. U ovom radu prikazano je teorijsko proučavanje tehnika tekstilnog tiska, naročito
sitotiska, zatim povijesni razvoj tekstilnog tiska, umjetnički aspekt i razvoj modne ilustracije. Prikazan
je također i proces samog brandinga, te kako postati prepoznatljiv na tržištu.
Želja je bila prikazati kako tehnologija tiska omogućuje prenošenje umjetnosti, točnije umjetnost
modne ilustracije na odjeću. U praktičnom dijelu rada prikazan je proces koji je potreban kako bi se od
početne ideje došlo do finalnog proizvoda, odnosno kako nastaju 'Dolls by Renata Grčić' ilustracije i
konačno modne kolekcije – od razvijanja ideje, odabira modne ilustracije koja će krasiti određeni
odjevni predmet, postupaka realizacije do gotovog proizvoda. Opisan je i tehnološki proces, tj. proces
tehnike sitotiska koji je realiziran od strane stručnog osoblja u tiskari 'Studio za dizajn' u Svetoj
Nedjelji.

Abstract (english)

Name of this paper is ‘Fashion illustration in screen printing technique’, it combines the technological
and artistic aspects of fashion. This paper presents a theoretical study of textile printing techniques,
particularly screen printing, then the historical development of textile printing, and artistic aspect and
the development of fashion illustrations. This paper also shows the process of branding itself, and how
to become recognizable in the market.
The desire was to show how printing technology allows for the transfer of art, more accurately art of
fashion illustrations, to clothing. The practical part of the paper presents the process that is needed to
bring the idea from the beginning to the final product, ie, how ‘Dolls by Renata Grčić’ is created and
finally how the fashion collection is made - from the development of ideas, a selection of fashion
illustrations that will embellish a particular garment item, the procedures of realization to the finished
product. The technological process is also shown, that is, the screen printing technique, which was
carried out by professional staff at the ‘Studio za dizajn’ printing shop in Sveta Nedjelja.
