Abstract

Tema ovog rada jest kreiranje i oblikovanje kolekcije odjeće čija je inspiracija preuzeta iz elemenata već postojećih kolekcija modnog dizajnera Husseina Chalayana. U prvom dijelu rada istražit će se i opisati inovativni i avangardni pristup u izradi kolekcija Husseina Chalayana. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada prikazat će se kolekcija odjeće nastala kao inspiracija radom Husseina Chalayana s naglaskom na njegove prêt-à-porter kolekcije. Kolekcija će sadržavati odjevne predmete izrađene od nekonvencionalnih materijala, odjevne predmete koji se mogu sklopiti, rasklopiti ili rekonfigurirati na različite načine. Rezultat rada će biti kolekcija odjeće prikazana projektnim crtežom, a izradit će se jedan odabrani model.

Abstract (english)

The subject of this thesis is shaping a fashion collection inspired by the elements of already existing collections of fashion designer Hussein Chalayan. The research part explores and elaborates the innovative and avant-garde approach in the creation of Hussein Chalayan’s collections. In the experimental part of the thesis, a clothing collection inspired by the work of Hussein Chalayan will be presented, with an emphasis on his prêt-à-porter collections. The collection will feature garments made from unconventional materials, garments that can be folded, unfolded or reconfigured in different ways. The result of this thesis will be a clothing collection shown with a project drawing and one selected model will be created.
