Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se temom korejske maskirane drame (talchum). Teorijski dio rada obuhvaća istraživanje literature vezane uz: povijest korejskog kazališta; vrsti maskiranih plesnih drama koje inspiraciju pronalaze u folklornim pričama i običajima, interpretirajući ih na humorističan način; tradicionalnog povijesnog odijevanja, koje je primijenjeno u analizi scenskog kostima za istu. Navedeno istraživanje, te fotografije s prikazima likova korejske maskirane drame, poslužili su kao osnova za realizaciju praktičnog dijela rada – reinterpretaciju scenskog kostima i maske prema vlastitoj skici. Realizacijom kostima omogućen je uvid u tradicionalni korejski i scenski kostim.

Abstract (english)

The purpose of this Master's thesis is a Korean masked dance drama (talchum). The thesis is investigated through the history of Korean theatre; types of Korean masked dance-dramas that are inspired by the folk tales and customs and interpreted in a satirical way; the history of Korean costume, which is applied to the analysis of the stage costume. The research and photographs depicting the characters of Korean masked drama served as a basis for the realization of the practical part of the thesis – the reinterpretation of the stage costume and a mask, both based on a personal sketch. Costume realization provided an insight into the traditional Korean and stage costume.
