Abstract

Tekstilna industrija je jedan od većih onečišćivača okoliša, ponajprije zbog vrsta i količine otpadnih voda. Procjenjuje se da je 20% onečišćenja vode u svijetu uzrokovano preradom tekstila što znači da se ovim procesima proizvode ogromne količine otpadnih voda. Općenito, sadrže visoke količine suspendiranih krutih tvari, bojila, soli, pesticida, ne-biorazgradive organske tvari i teške metale. Smanjenje kvalitete vode ali i sve snažniji zakonski propisi po pitanju zaštite okoliša, doveli su do toga da se tekstilna industrija mora okrenuti održivim metodama pročišćavanja otpadnih voda koje pomažu da se smanji globalni otisak vode. U ovome radu će se dati pregled održivih metoda pročišćavanja otpadnih voda tekstilne industrijekaošto su granulirani aktivni ugljen-GAC, elektrokoagulacija-EC, ultrazvučna obrada, napredni oksidacijski procesi-AOP, ozoniranje, membranski bio reaktor-MBR, sekvencijski šaržni reaktor-SBR.

Abstract (english)

The textile industry is one of the major polluters of the environment, primarily due to the type and amount of wastewaters. It is estimated that 20% of the world's water pollution is caused by textile processing, whichmeans that these processes produce huge amounts of wastewater. Ingeneral,they contain high amounts of suspended solids, dyes, salts, pesticides, non-biodegradable organic substances and heavy metals. Declining water quality, but also increasingly strong environmental legislation, has led the textile industry to turn to sustainable wastewater treatment methods that help reduce the global water footprint. This paper will provide an overview of sustainable wastewater treatment methods in the textile industry such as granular activater carbon - GAC, electrocoagulation - EC, ultrasonic treatment, advanced oxidation processes-AOPs, ozonation, membrane bioreactor – MBR and sequential batch reactor-SBR.
