Abstract

Inspiriran radnjom i idejom filmske drame The Great Gatsby, bazirane na izvornome romanu F. Scotta Fitzgeralda, ovaj završni rad napisan je i napravljen na temu kostima iz istoimenog filma. U nastavku ćete se upoznati sa samom radnjom djela, općenitom povijesti kostima (u filmu, kazalištu i baletu), te će se opisati praktičan dio izrade završnog rada. Uz to ide i detaljan opis kostimografije navedenog filma te usporedba starijeg i novijeg filma. Sam posao kostimografa nije toliko jednostavan kako se čini. Kostimografija je jedan kompleksan dio svakog filma te igra veliku ulogu u samoj radnji filma.

Abstract (english)

Inspired by the act and the idea of the movie The Great Gatsby, based on the original novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, this final work was written and made on the theme of costumes from the same movie. Below you will be introduced to the work itself, the general history of costumes (film, theater and ballet), and a practical part of the final work will be described. It also includes a detailed description of the costumes of the film and analogy of the older and newer film.The job of a costume designer is not that simple as it seems. Costume design is a complex part of every movie and plays a big part in the movie.
