Abstract

Modna fotografija, prepoznata je kao modni alat u komercijalnoj sferi, brzo je pokazala mogućnosti za mnogo više od lijepog prikaza odjeće. Mnogi fotografi konstruirali su različite forme reprezentacije koje su imale široke konotacije. Fotografija koja ima sposobnost uljepšavanja, zavođenja, odlazaka u druge dimenzije, propitivanja društvenih normi, sve je to fotografija Debore Turbeville. Rad pokušava analizirati razne umjetničke, ali i društvene pokrete koji su inspirirali utjecali na kreiranje takvog jedinstvenog stila.

Abstract (english)

Fashion photograhy, recognized as an indispensable tool in a commercial fashion sphere, proved to be a lot more than just a means for creating pretty pictures. Many photographers aimed at constructing different forms od representation with manifold connotations. The photographies of Deborah Turbeville have the ability to embellish and seduce, to transport the viewer to another dimension, as well as to push forward the limitations of social norms. This master thesis will try to analyze different artistic and social movements that inspired and influenced such a unique style.
